My working life has been property since leaving education starting with one of the large corporate agencies in the late 1970’s. By the late 80’s I was responsible for a group of three offices based in mid Essex but living in Suffolk. During the early 90’s I felt that the time had come to open my own business and living in Stratford St Mary, East Bergholt seemed the natural place. Thirty years later I cannot think anywhere I would rather be based.
Since we opened the office I have thoroughly enjoyed working within East Bergholt and our industry. I love the interaction with the general public both in matters of property and all other matters that occur! I feel that I have a great work life balance which is so important as I generally work two days a week and any other time that I am needed. This leaves time for my many other interests which include a varied fitness routine, fashion, antiques, dressmaking and Open Doors.
I joined Grier and Partners at the very start of 2020 as their Lettings Manager. Meeting new and existing landlords, helping tenants to find their new homes, is just part of my job I thoroughly love. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at the Shelley Centre for Therapeutic Riding. This is part of the UK Riding for the Disabled. It is so rewarding to see the difference it can make to someone’s life.
